Hadestown follows two intertwining mythic love stories—that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice\, and that of immortal King Hades and Lady Persephone. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz\, Mitchell’s beguiling musical pits industry against nature\, doubt against faith\, and fear against love. DESCRIPTION:Jim Belushi and the Sacred Hearts \nMarch 14  – Doors open at 7:00 PM Show at 7:30 PM \nFriday\, March 14\, will feature a performance by long-time honorary Holly Co-Chair Jim Belushi and The Sacred Hearts. Star of screen\, television and stage\, Belushi and his band played to a sellout crowd of 2\,000 nearly a decade ago\, as a benefit for the Holly restoration. The Sacred Hearts is the official house band for the House of Blues venues. They are a multiple award-winning band that performs across the country with their signature Chicago-style of rhythm and blues. With harmonica in hand\, Belushi and the band have entertained in concerts\, benefits and corporate events for over 18 years. Local band Duke Street will open the concert\, which begins at 7:30 pm.
