Following the highly successful presentation of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, Classic Albums Live returns to the Historic Holly Theatre with AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, bringing one of rock and roll’s defining albums to downtown Medford for an unforgettable night.

Released in 1979, Highway to Hell captures AC/DC at its most direct and electrifying. Bon Scott’s unmistakable voice, Angus Young’s guitar, and the band’s driving rhythm created an album rooted firmly in rock and roll. Classic Albums Live founder Craig Martin draws a straight line from Chuck Berry to AC/DC, pointing to the honesty at the heart of Scott’s vocals, Young’s playing, and the record itself.

Classic Albums Live takes the greatest classic rock albums and recreates them note for note, cut for cut. Their performances bring together an exceptional ensemble of musicians committed to reproducing the recordings with precision. No costumes. No impersonations. The focus is entirely on the music.

From the unmistakable opening riff of “Highway to Hell” through “Girls Got Rhythm,” “Touch Too Much,” “Shot Down in Flames,” “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It),” and the rest of the record, Highway to Hell is an album made to move to.
