Have you ever wondered how artists find their creative muse? Southern Oregon Open Studios is a free event that is presented by the Ashland Gallery Association that allows our community to visit the very places where art happens. Artists’ studios are always one of a kind. Each studio has its own peculiarities in set up and working methods depending on the medium and the artist’s needs. Every artist needs a space of their own to think, work, organize, and dream. While these places where work is made are as individual as the artist, what they all have in common is the energy of creation. This is the forum where an artist is allowed to freely experiment, develop ideas, and fail or succeed.
All proceeds from Southern Oregon Open Studios benefit the Ashland Gallery Association and its efforts to promote the visual arts in Southern Oregon.
