Let your curiosity flow as you join us for World Water Day on Sunday, March 22. Explore freshwater systems, conservation, and sustainable water management with hands-on activities and community partners throughout the museum and grounds.
Rogue Riverkeeper Program Manager Frances Oyung presents “Follow the Raindrops: How We Can Protect Water Quality,” an interactive activity around the ScienceWorks grounds exploring how water moves through our landscape. Meet the Ashland Climate Collaborative, build a beaver dam with the Rogue River Watershed Council in Pacific Crest Cove, create a DIY water filter in the Tinkering Studio, and catch a cloud demo at Exploration Station.
Plus, experience Ripple Effect: Hands-On with Hydrodynamics, our immersive exhibit where water’s movement comes to life.
